I went and did some memes.

I've been tagged THREE TIMES, so I'd better get cracking. :o)

Okay, this one's from Kristy.

5 things I plan to do before I die:
1. Have 4 children & raise them to love God and fulfil their dreams
2. Become a regular worship leader at church
3. See my whole family saved
4. Become a piano/violin/saxophone/clarinet maestro
5. See my husband fulfil his calling in God

5 things I can do:
1. Sing
2. Type reasonably fast-ish
3. Cook
4. Work out budgets (sticking to them is another matter!)
5. Serve

5 things I cannot do:
1. Improvise in cooking
2. Be assertive
3. Whistle
4. Juggle
5. Fly

5 things that attract me to the opposite sex:
1. Honesty, but...
2. Willingness to say "I'm sorry", even when he doesn't mean it
3. Sense of humour
4. Fun personality
5. Commitment to God

5 things I say most often:
1. Hello!
2. I love you
3. Whatever
4. How's it going?
5. It's a secret! (when people ask me the sex of the baby, which they do often)

5 celebrity crushes: I seriously don't have any celebrity crushes... but if I had to choose, they would be:
1. Will Ferrell (He's an awesome actor, and I excitedly see every movie he's in)
2. Patrick Dempsey (i.e. Dr Derek Shepherd from Grey's Anatomy)
3. Michael Vartan (i.e. Michael Vaughan from Alias)
Ummm, I can't think of any more. So that will have to do. :o)

This one's from Kristy again.

So this is what I have to do:
1. Go into your archives.
2. Find your 23rd post.
3. Post the fifth sentence (or closest to it)
4. Post the text of the sentence in your blog along with these instructions.

Mine is this: "Shame on me!" :o) This was about listening to Josh Groban, and how very dorky it was that I was listening to his music, but also how wonderful, because Josh Groban is awesome. Man, the content of my posts back then! Wow. Insightful.

This one is from Emily.

THE RULES: List five songs that you are currently loving. It doesn't matter what genre they are from, whether they have words, or even if they're any good, but they must be songs you're really enjoying right now.

1. Hillsong - Emmanuel. It's my favourite of the songs we're doing at the Christmas Carols. I hope I can do it justice.

2. United Live - Tell The World. This is one of our baby's songs. We're playing it heaps so that little NJ will recognise it when he/she enters the world.

3. United Live - Rest In You. Same explanation as Tell The World.

4. Backstreet Boys - Incomplete. I was watching the video for this song, and sat transfixed. Not because they're so good-looking, but because I was amazed at the awesomeness of the song. I don't know why... rarely does a song have this effect on me, but there you go. And for some reason, hearing it on the radio isn't the same. Perhaps the video is also awesome, and complements the song perfectly. Perhaps.

5. Hillsong - This Is My Desire. We sang this at church on Sunday, and it went off (in a good way). It was so passionate.

Do you know how hard this was? I used to be a music nut, and have an ever-changing list of my top 10 favourite songs. But lately, either I don't listen to much music (except at church), or I just forget every song I hear. I think the latter may be the case, because I am pregnant after all, and therefore rather absent-minded. :o) Not saying all pregnant women are absent-minded, but I read that it can be a symptom. It definitely is in my case!

Guess what? My husband and I went to sleep at about 7:30 last night! Then woke up at 5:30. So TEN HOURS sleep! That is very strange for us, but also very awesome. I woke up so easily this morning, without my usual 'tired and grumpy Alyssa' persona. And we left for work ON TIME, for the first time in... ever. We even had time to stop for petrol, and my husband was still extremely early for work. Yay!
